AI Use at Northline

We use generative AI and related technologies to support research, analysis, software engineering, content development and other aspects of our work. AI-generated outputs are treated as inputs to professional judgment—not as independent authority.

Where AI contributes to Northline research, advisory work, software or published content, its use is governed by the nature and consequence of the work. The level of review, testing, validation or independent verification applied to AI-assisted work reflects the nature and consequence of that work before it is relied upon or published.

Northline retains human responsibility for the work it produces, the decisions it makes and the representations it publishes.

In some Northline products and research, including EPS, artificial intelligence is not only a supporting tool but also part of the system being designed, evaluated and governed. In those cases, Northline's work focuses specifically on how AI can operate within defined evidence, authority, traceability and human-oversight boundaries.

AI can assist the work. It does not replace accountability for the work.
